About the Event
Join us Tamar and Elana, owners of Masa Madre, via zoom to learn how to lovingly prepare a traditional round sweet challah for Rosh Hashannah braided with pieces of guava ate (Mexican guava paste) and topped with crunchy honey amaranth. You'll recieve a zoom link and the recipe via e-mail prior to the event. You'll learn about the bakers, make the dough, learn how to shape the dough several ways, and interact with questions and a fun chat throughout.Â
Tickets available are:
Basic ticket: Admission to the event and a PDF of the recipe (vegan or regular).
Baker's ticket**: Admission to the event and a PDF of the recipe (vegan or regular), a baker's kit that includes ingredients (those ingredients marked with an * on the PDF are not included), 1 rolling pin, 1 bench scraper, special fillings and 1 loaf pan.Â
**Must be purchased prior to 9/12 if you need it shipped, if you are local the kit may be picked up. Please arrange a time by e-mailing hellomasamadre@gmail.com no later than 9/15.
